You must pay an additional £65 for each family member you include. If your payment does not cover you and your family members, we will reject...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

If it was a mistake then they gave you what you applied for, if you believe you qualify for PR and have all the evidence then you can reapply using the correct form and the required evidence. Yes I'm not complaining. I didn't realise till I got the card that I made mistake. So I'll reaply with corr...

Re: NOT SURE ABOUT WHICH FORM TO USE.

Hello you all! I am about to send my application for a PR card as a family member of an EEA national (italian wife for over 14 years now). My doubt is: she will ask for her PR too. So I got this form called EEA(PR) at the home office site. On page 15 section 1, A, it asks us the reason of the appli...

Am not sure if this is a consolation but the form has been reduced to 91 pages, 07/15 version.

Watch Out ! Changes to CSI for family member of EEA students

UKBA will be changing the requirement from 22/06/15 for family members of EEA student, they would be required to have CSI from that date because according to them at the moment only the EEA student is required to have one unlike the case for self sufficient EEA national and their family member. http...

Re: Please, need URGENT info.

She doesn't have to apply before you can apply for yours, assuming that you meet all the requirements for PR, then you can apply using all her information without her applying. If she wants to apply then you can apply together enclosing both application forms in one envelope.

All the best.

Re: Northern Irish giving up British Citizenship

You might want to post your question under the European route section, you should hopefully be able to get more replies there. I'll try and answer some of your questions but am no professional or legal person so pls note this. If you give up your British citizenship then yes you should be able to br...

Re: Questions about naturalisation application

1. Yes

2. You can apply through NSC who would copy your document and give you back the original.

3. This won't matter if you use NSC as you would have your document and will be able to travel.

Payment has been taken. :) Not sure if I should be doing other things to try to push my case, or if this would cross the line from being polite to hassling. What is everyone's thoughts? I've sent the letter and contacted my MP, but I guess other additional options could be to: 1 - email the nationa...

Re: PR Due but child with another woman

I honestly don't see any issue, you have been together for 11 years and still is, that points to a genuine relationship. If I was making the application I would almost certainly leave out that section, for example when I applied for PR almost 2 years ago there was questions about tie to your old cou...

Can you not leave out that section and not complete it? I find it irrelevant to the application and shouldnt determine the outcome as long as you are genuinely married to the EU national.

Re: October 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Home Office phoned me and explained that the reason for my rejection was that I didn't prove a sixth year in the UK. Thus it became clear that the issue was that they expected me to have the extra 1 year under PR after 5 years of treaty rights exercise (which they said was all in order and accepted...

I phoned the HO. They said they will try to get me more info and phone me back within 48 hours. The person I spoke to agreed it was vague in an area that is normally straightforward, and he said he'll try to get more details for me. Fingers crossed. Feeling so discouraged. Excellent, I think they g...

Your friend doesn't have to be a practice accoutant, he is an accountant registered with an accounting body - ACCA in this case - which is good enough.

There is a list of who can be a referee, try checking the sticked top about FAO.

Yeah - I proved the treaty rights for five years, just not technically the absences for the first two years as that was under the residency section instead. (Well, I did prove the absences, they just had a wee line over the first two years' worth as requested by the NCS person.) In the EU/treaty ri...

Unfortunately we can only speculate what the reason for refusal is without confirmation from them hence why you need to find out the reason first as then it gives you a proper chance to address it. You probably would have received the letter if they requested more information, I know many thoughts w...

Hi Jbentley, It's obvious they are suspicious of your relationship / application hence why they keep visiting. I know it's annoying but am not sure if there is anything you can do to stop it, you can be happy with the knowledge that they have to make a decision on your application within 6 months so...
