It's Christmas, things will be slow. If it's more than 2 weeks, then there is a problem. So be patient, god damn it. There are some who have been waiting for a year. Take it easy. I have sent out my application on 10th of dec. money deducted on 11st dec. till today no sign of acknowledgement letter...

So far most people get the acknowledgement letter within a week or less..

I posted my application form last Tuesday. UKBA taken £1051 from my account on Wednesday. But till today I still have not received any acknowledgement letter.... Is this normal?

So they will then send my biometric application and return all the documents to my correspondence address rather than my home address?

I am due to apply for ILR next month. Arrived in uk on 02/01/2004. Was on student visa from then until 01/08/2012. Then applied for PSW on 01/04/2012 and it will expire on 24/05/2014.
