This is indeed very unfair. I will be completing my four years in July and was looking forward to ILR within three months and now it seems I have to wait for another full year for the same. Yeah, I have just spoken to HSBC and their service is good but the rate they are offering is not better than Halifax and Nationwide.

What offer did you get, if you dont mind telling ofcourse?

I am also in the same boat. I can produce around 10% deposit.
I have spoken with Halifax and Intelligent finance, both are ready to provide me mortgage.
Havnt spoken to Nationwide as of now but going to talk to them on wednesday and will post the details.

I was worried because they wrote the line "This supersedes the stamp on page 15" by a black pen.

So I was kinda worried that may be mortgage people think about it otherwise

HSMP Extension application:

1) Application sent on 23rd Feb (Initial visa was expiring on 7th April so 5 weeks earlier)

2) Fees deducted on 24th Feb

3) Acknowledgement letter received on 28th Feb dated 24th Feb

My friend opted for Premium service at Birmingham PEO last year for ILR (WP+HSMP) and he was granted the same.

So, is it now not possible to opt for premium service (WP+HSMP) at PEO's for ILR?

Yeah, this is normal for a contractual position.

Apologies if this question has been asked before.. I am in process of applying for HSMP Extension in a day or two, In the FLR(IED) form, Q. NO 29 says "What is your HSMP reference number"? Is this the number mentioned on "Initial approval letter" under "Our reference" ?...

Yes, You can change your status from WP holder to HSMP visa and at the same time continue with the same employer.
I did that exactly the same, so you can go ahead.

It is not necassary to claim points in Income catagory. I dint claim but I got HSMP approval.
Try to provide sufficient evidence for points you are claiming. Browse this forum and you will find all the information you need :)
