Unfortunately we have to request in an email or in person.

If you wish to visit I recommend you take proof with you and show them your urgency they will understand.

It seems they are processing application very randomly! There is no pattern or procedure.
No clue which process they follow to give passport. They seem to giving passports to the persons who will chase them too much. Then only they are responding I guess.

as per Ban.s post above it might take longer. Not sure why this has not been communicated to people who applied.

Application form clearly ask for email when filling.

Hi,

I applied passport on 23-01-2014. No news about my passport. They are saying it is still in progress not sure what that means.

They did not specify any dates. I am worried now about my passport. I have travel plans this month which cannot be avoided.
