Re: 10 years long residence applications

No, mine was delayed because it didn't fill and sign in Section 5. Hence they sent me that page to sign last month after which the biometric invitation has been issued. Finally got my biometrics letter on 16/10/2014 and did it yesterday - 18/10/2014 only 10 weeks after your application but good luck...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Dear Fellow Applicants, While submitting your SET(LR) application, do make sure that you complete, sign and date Section 5. This is even if you are not submitting any bank statements or utility bills. I got a letter from Home Office to complete section 5 otherwise my application will be invalid. I d...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Getting FLR(M) visa for 2.5 years is under new rules. Getting it for 2 years is under old rules before 6 April 2014. And getting under rules for 2 years means, you could straightway apply for SET(M) ILR as long as one has completed 2 years in UK as a dependent and entered before July 2012. Under new...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Hi Hardikjshah, If you had applied in Jan 2014, you should have been considered under old rules and got visa for 2 years. When did you get the FLR(M) decision ? If its not late, write back to the caseworker who handled the FLR(M) and let them know about the rules (pre April 2014 rules). If you go th...

Re: pre july 2012 PBS dependants - Petition

Congratulations aurnoc. How did your husband got his ILR, was it on 10 years basis ILR (LR) ? Is your FLR(M) for 2 years or 2.5 years ? I went for my FLR (M) on 28th at PEO Croydon, 11am with the Section 7A filled in actual form and Section 7B filled and taken just in case they need it. Was advised ...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Yes, that is correct, ILR (LR) dependants have to wait now for 5 years after they get their FLR(M). This is regardless whether the dependant came before July 2012 or not. They can't combine their previous leave. The clock resets to zero as soon as the dependant get their FLR(M) visa which would be i...
