Re: 10 years long residence applications

No, but when you submitted the application you have already completed 10 years legal stay. It doesn't matter if your Tier 2 is revoked after 10 years legal stay. Hi My concern is whether I am meant to still be on tier 2 while they are considering my 10 yr ilr application. Could they say I am not her...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Then you don't have to worry as you would have already completed 10 years legal stay in this country when you applied for the ILR. Did you apply for ILR on long residence or 10 year basis ? Hi Pls help. I applied for ilr in March and am on maternity leave. My maternity leave ends 22 April and my bab...

Re: FLR M new rules April 2014

Hi Amber, Thanks for clearing this. What would apply to my situation ? My wife joined me as PSW dependent in July 2011. In Sept 2011, I changed to Tier 2 and wife also changed to Tier 2 dependent with me from Sept 2011. I qualify and would be applying for ILR through long residence i.e. SET(LR) in A...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

So my wife is as my Tier 2 dependent since Sept 2011 and I would be applying for SET(LR) in august 2014. I would apply for her FLR(M) following my application as her visa expires in Sept 2014. So how long she would have to wait to apply for her ILR through SET(M) after she gets her FLR(M) ? So to wh...

Re: FLR M new rules April 2014

Hi shiju31/Amber, If you have already got your ILR, the only way you can extend your wife's visa is through FLR(M) ? You can't extend it as a PBS dependent as you yourself on ILR but not on PBS/Tier1. well. that sounds good if that rule doesn't apply for her on FLR M. Only reason for me to prefer FL...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

So to whom or who would be eligible to apply as a dependent using the two year rule ? You need to have been living in the UK with a ‘partner of a settled person’ visa for: 2 years if you applied for your visa before 9 July 2012 [quote="KashRIz"] No you cant as they made this correction to ...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Ok not PBS but dependent of ILR or settled person. So when you get ILR (SET(LR)) your dependent will be partner of a settled person. Then you could use that link to check the eligibility and apply for SET(M) as partner of a settled person ?? the link you shared clearly says Eligibility You need to h...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

As per the UKVI website, they still haven't abolished the PBS dependent transition route. If you follow the below link, it gives the 2 years transitional option to apply for SET(M) ILR, https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk/y/you-re-the-family-member-of-someone-who-has-settled-in-the-uk/some-other-way...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Hi KashRIz, This is about the income requirement. Where is it mentioned about the 2 year or 5 year route after getting FLR(M) following the rule changes i.e. 6th April ? So anything/anywhere mentioned in the new rules that long resident dependents have to wait for 5 years (if applied after 6th April) before applying for ILR regardless they are here before July 2012 ?
