You need a property report for your property to prove it is not overcrowded. Your son is presumably NOT applying for a visa. Thats right, he is not applying. Can i use any company that offers such service ? And does it have any time restrictions, such as it expires or gets no longer valid? Thanks

Thank you for your reply. So do i need inspection report only for myself or my son too? I can see Southampton council charge £185 for such report and £65 for additional person.
