Re: After New Rules of tier 1

@ uzzi2009, if you are able to get funding of 50k from govt. seed and govt department with the exception of Venture capital then you should be fine.

Another option is to apply from overseas through the 200k cash route.

Re: Business After Getting Visa

@ googleit, technically the businesses you can invest in are those at or above NQF level 4 for you to be able to qualify for extension. Its the condition of your visa and you don't need a lawyer to tell you what you have used to obtain your visa. The exemption from HO is that you can change to any b...

Re: how do i go about my Appeal case pls?

@ ogbuka_cp, the immigration rule is very complicated, you are normally allowed to apply using the 50k VC or govt. funding route.

You cannot apply with 50k cash or even 200k cash within the UK.

But you can also apply through the 200k cash route from outside the UK.

What route did you apply with?

@ K-Desilva, if you are on 200k route of the tier 1 entrepreneur visa, then you can do any type of business activities except property development and property management. The scenario you plan with your cousin is like an umbrella company or recruitment agency and from what I have heard, VAT system ...

Re: Advice needed about court of appeal

@ Zaidii, you should apply to court of appeal within 28days as planned, its a good idea as you should prolong it for as long as possible in order to reach your 10yrs. If your business is actively trading, then get a good solicitor and you might be lucky to win your case if your only refusal point is...

Many Thanks for your response. Will there be any impact on my case due to recent changes in ho rules? Also, can I switch my category to tier2 etc? If your company is already trading actively then new rule wont affect you even if you decide to submit a fresh application. You can switch to tier2 visa...

But you should get your visa first before trying to change the business plan. - If you decide to open a construction company, you will have to emplo...

@ dancingguy05, you should be fine if they decide to question you since your partner is here looking after the business and you have also invested around 27k in your business. If they ask you for the rest of the money, you can decide to tell them that you are allowed to make the investment within 3y...

@ aby00156, in regard to your questions, - It will be advisable for you to show how you transferred 50k investment funds into your business rather than recycling profits or revenue as investment funds. You can simply take out the profit as dividend with the help of a good accountant and then transfe...

Or if you have register your business and started trading or registered as self-employed before 11 July 2014, then you can follow the old r...

@ Frontier Mole, it will be a good idea to confirm your information before replying as you might give a wrong impression.

The 50k route at graduate level you are referring to is not even NQF level 6 but NQF level 4 and above.
