Re: Entering UK as tourist with Entreprenuer visa

@ kayess1984, I think that the best way to check the status of your application is to call the embassy were you submitted your application. Also in regard to age restriction on Tier 1 entrepreneur visa, HO just added a section on 06/04/14 for applicants that are 16yrs old. Its actually a silly addit...

Re: Teir 1 Visa Refused

@ VHQ123, if you can proof to the judge that your bank letter and statement are genuine, then you should be fine. You should get further letter from the bank to state that your documents issued by them are genuine and they can also confirm if HO have tried to do any verification or not and take the ...

Re: Got BRP Today Restricted work Business Invest

@ confused90, yes its acceptable to split it over the period as long as the 2 workers were employed for total of 24 months or 120months for 10 workers within the duration of the visa. Also bear in mind that there were changes to the requirement on 06/04/14 which requires that applicants that are get...

Re: uk tier 1 entrepreneur visa

@ BlackBirdSSG, you stated as thus; Showing funding in Business Account is generally not acceptable by HO (Read Policy Guidance's Point # 108 on Page 21 of 56) The part that you quoted is as follows; 108. The total amount of available money must be either at least £200,000; or at least £50,000, as a...

@ moh.moh, you should send a letter to HO explaining your mistake. You should have click on NO since the money is in your personal account rather than in a business account.

@ sherjil_kh, if the fund is in your personal account, then the answer to click is NO. You being a director is only needed if you are using a company rather than applying as self-employed. You still need to be a director of the business if you are applying with either business account or personal ac...

Re: Came across a terrible experience at Luton Airport

@ Ripon, who was your mum's sponsor on her visit visa? If its your sister, then the immigration officers were wrong to have stop her to help your mum during the encounter at the airport. As it stand if your sister is your mum sponsor, then your appeal is very likely to be successful if you guys can ...

@ sindhoo, the requirement for employment is to show that you have employed 2 full-time workers in the last 12months before your extension is due, so for the 10 workers as well it will also be last 12months before extension.

@ Hassannahdi, as long as your wife never overstayed her visa, she should be fine with any future application even from abroad. The only problem in your case is that some applicants are required to apply from abroad but she cant be denied if she hasn't gone against the conditions of her visa while i...

Re: tier 4 first, then PSW appeal refused, child is 5yo

Children that are born in UK don't necessarily have to apply for dependant visa with their parent unless they plan to travel outside the UK before they turn 7yrs when they are due for FLR(FP) private life application. In the case of kenwizza, she might need to go for a college that will give her 20h...

Re: Teir 1 Visa Refused

In your own case, HO misinterpreted ''certificate not in bank standard...

@ sherjil_kh, if your investment funds is in your personal bank acct, then the answer to tick is NO.

But if the money is in your business account then you tick YES and you should be register as a director of the company to proof that you have access to the money in the business account.

Re: tier 4 first, then PSW appeal refused, child is 5yo

@ kenwizza, another option is for you to apply for student visa again and if refused, apply for JR as you wont get an appeal right and you can then submit an FLR (FP) application for your daughter once she turn 7yrs old even while your JR is pending.

@ sindhoo, you can decide to be director of 10 companies and invest 20k in each of them. Its your choice.

You just need to show total investment of 200k in order to qualify for extension.

Re: Won the appeal in both the courts now what?

@ nish_patel7, just as Rehan01 has stated, its very unlikely that HO will challenge UT decision any further so you should be expecting your visa anytime soon unless HO also decide to ask for further documents before issuing your visa.

Re: Employment in your own business

The reason why HO don't want entrepreneur taking salary from the investment funds is because some people might simply take all the funds as salary without investing any money in their business. Also the issue of not being allowed to take salary from the 50k/200k investment funds is like the requirem...

@ Bryiansky, you did not state why your husband visa was curtailed and why your husband fail to realise this or a long time. Its very crucial to the outcome of the appeal.

@ rolph, I think that you should fill another application form for your dependant son and send to the same address with a covering letter. It should normally be treated as a VARY application with your circumstances.

Re: Tier 1 Visa Application refused! Pls advise.

@ Cathie, the 3rd refusal point is the only one that can make the case tough. The first 2 points are easily defendable but still no guarantee if the judge will accept your excuses as the required documents are clearly stated in the immigration rules. What is the service that was included on your con...
