@ YouKTier, you are allowed to run another business apart from the one you initially applied with as long as your new business continue to meet all the requirement of the rule and you also keep evidence of any money already invested in the former business. @ cancerian, congratulation for your appeal success, did HO representative try to argue during appeal that their initial decision was correct or did they just gave up as they actually have a very weak case with the previous case precedent.

Re: Investment doubt - additional business

@ YouKTier, you can invest in as many business as possible as long as all the evidences are well kept and all the businesses must meet all the requirement of the immigration rule. As in your case of being a former PSW visa holder, all the businesses must be at or above NQF level 4. But to be frank, ...

Re: Investment under rules before April 2014

@ hards9256, its better to stay away from HO controversial issues. Buying a business while paying the former owner directly is frowned at by HO as it doesn't meet the requirement of ''fresh investment in UK'' because you are simply paying for an old business which already exist in UK and doesn't amo...

@ atmone, your solicitor doesn't need to know anything special apart from the fact that you and your solicitor need to prove to the judge that your ETS test was in fact genuine.

If you have genuinely taken the test as you have stated, then you shouldn't have any problem proving that to the judge.

You can use the same company that you both use for your initial application. You should be aware...

@ Ramo, why didn't you complete your course and placement before applying for asylum?
But now that you have already applied for asylum, you have end up complicating your iimmigration history and unless you have a very compelling asylum case, it might be very difficult to win the asylum case.

@ sivakala, you seem to be the person in question, and best option is for you to find out your situation from HO rather than wait for what may or may not happen. Calling HO customer service no will put your mind at rest rather than stressing yourself with uncertainty.

@ aboabai, you can go back to student visa if you haven't spend the maximum years allowed under student visa.

You should also be aware that getting admission while on appeal is a very tricky issue.
