Need advice - will vary FLR to ILR(premium)

Hi Guys I am currently on a tier-4 visa until 22nd Nov’16 and will be eligible to make my ILR Application on or after 10th December (-28 days included). Re: 10 years route but falling short by few days

Thanks Saj. It's much clearer now Just one question though. I came across the below on ukvi website and its confused me: Y our 10-year qualifying period starts from either: -when you arrived in the UK with a visa -when you were given permission to stay in the UK I came to UK on 7th Jan 2007 but my v...

Arrived UK: 7th Jan 2007 Current visa: Tier-4(student) expiring on 22nd Nov'16 I'll be eligible to make an ILR application on 10th December 2016 but my current visa(tier4) ends on 22nd Nov'16. Re: Part time job along with studying in Canada.

Hi, Yes, you are allowed to work part time(20hrs) while studying but if you are planning on moving to Canada for more sort of permanent basis and have relevant work experience then you could apply for other visas as well, such as Federal Skilled worker route. With this route you can get a Canadian C...

need email to request 60 Days letter

My sponsor stopped sponsoring me 3 weeks ago and I now plan on switching back to tier 4 to complete my Post-graduation. I still haven't received a letter from UKBA. Is there any way I can contact them to request my 60 days letter so that I can secure an admission for the September intake? Many thanks!

Genuine Venture Capital Firm

Hello
How can I be 100% sure that a venture capital firm is 100% genuine and approved by UKBA. Also, based on your experiences what are the things I should look out for if I am applying through a VCF?

Re: Should I wait for 60 days letter?

Thanks for your prompt reply and quoting the reference from
UKBA policy guidance. Makes more sense.

Yes, I've been at the same address for past several years and it's the one UKBA has so I'll just wait for the letter. :)

Many thanks

Should I wait for 60 days letter?

Hello All After working for a company for just about two years with a Tier-2 visa, my company had to let go off me and several others because the company is closing down as they can not function any more. They reported about it to the UKBA a week ago. Now I should get 60 days to switch my visa. My q...

Re: 90 days Maintenance on Parents overseas account?

Thanks
BlackBirdSSG
I am applying for the visa with someone. In this case we both need to have £900 each on our accounts or we can have £900 in ONE joint account?

Also, if I have £900 amount in an overseas account(but on my own name). Is that acceptable?

Regards
Fahad

90 days Maintenance on Parents overseas account?

Can I show the 90 days maintenance fund of £900 in my parents overseas account? I know it's acceptable for tier 4, tier 2 etc but not sure if it's allowed in Tier 1 as well?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards
Fahad

not sure if we need 50K or 200K - TEAM Tier 1

I am on a tier 2(general) visa but will be receiving a 60 days letter from UKBA soon to switch because my company where I worked at for 2 years is closing down and they had to let me go. Switching from Tier2(not PSW) & Tier 4 - team

Hello Gurus After being on a company sponsored Tier-2 visa for over 2 years, they had to let me go and many others recently because they are in a verge of closing down. UKBA has been notified 4 days back and I should be expecting my 60days letter to switch soon. I, along with a friend had been plann...

still hope!

If there is no other way than YES you can still make an application with an Offer letter but the issue is that your friend may be refused because UKBA does ask for all the documents. Said that, I've seen a few cases in the past like this where students were allowed to submit the documents even after...

they're wrong.

I'm surprised on what the school has advised you! There's a reason UKBA gives additional 3-5 months visa and it's because they want to give students time to be prepared for a new visa. The rule is that if you've been out of studies for more than 6 months then you have to show full maintenance but I ...

Registering a new company on Tier2

Hello All, I'm on a tier 2 (company sponsored) visa at the moment and it expires June 2015. I am planning to start a business and will be buying a retail shop here in London as well but won't be managing it during my contractual working hours. Will hire people to work there but outside of my contrac...
