I think its better to submit English translation wiv marriage certificate by union council. In my case i didn't submit English translation and it was ok.

Yes i think ur husband will get RFC within days. I was quite ready after i heard two RFC's (17th Sep got last week n 24th Sep on last Friday). Unfortunately i wasn't in Lahore to receive on same date n now am really worried abt d outcome..

A small update dat today I received txt and email (also status has been changed) dat my passpost is ready for collection. I will collect it on 15th Jan (Wednesday) bcoz tmrw is a holiday.
Really confused n cant wait to c d decision..

U never need both passport and CNIC for Ielts, only one is fine. I've appeared twice in ielts test after i submitted application in Sep 2013 bcoz am a pharmacist n i needed higher score for registration wiv GPhC. IELTS and A1 are different, no? Folks thanks for your inputs, I clearly understand that spouse's name can change only after nikaah and nikaah nama is essential for making the I.D card, passport is made through the I.D card only (nikah nama is not needed). New year holiday is on 1st Jan 2014. There was no holiday for 31st Dec. i can say dat bcoz i wrote an inquiry email to bhc few days bck n dey replied on 31st. (Dat was a standard rply dat my application is still under process n gerrys wil contact me once concluded).
