Investment does NOT mean 'money spent in the business'. There are very specific requirements on how to score points towards investment, one of which is that you must inject cash to your business. Hi,

when you said you are dependent were you a Tier 2 Dependant. Also, do you have to go to India to switch visa? I am a Tier 1 Entrepreneur and My wife is already working here. Her company is under going the RLMT. So how long does it take to get COS allocated?

If the money is deducted from your bank account then don't worry the money will be back into your account in 4 weeks time from your day of your decision.

Have you tried contacting your local MP. He may help you issuing a letter to home office to speed up your application process. I will wait for a month and then contact my local MP.

Yes you can work as an contractor as you are providing services from your company to the other company. Even the payment made is sent to your company's business account you take the dividend from the money you receive so its all legal and you don't have to worry about it. correct me if I am wrong.

Hi Mate I have just checked that I have received the £140 which we pay for the tribunal back in to my account today. Lets hope the UKBA responds and sends me visa quickly :)

In my case I am waiting for response from the UKBA, I still did not get my Court fee back, I got my decision letter on 7th this month. Its not even a month since I got my decision. Thanks for replying back, Hope UKBA issues us Visa quickly.

I dont know why do the ukba take such a long time to give visa even after winning the appeal.
