I think you can apply as a student and get approval as long as you score points needed. However i do not think you will score any points in the area of earnings or work experience.

I think there are now so many mistakes been made by the HSMP teams maybe because of the inexperience of the new staff. It could go either way so some members will benefit by the sped while others may not! however i think the problem is with the trainees now handling the various cases. Maybe you need...

I think you need to call them and get a more clear picture. Definetly if Royal Mail says they delivered then it was delivered. There many cases where they have not sent an ack, or reference number so all you have to do is call and maybe email them.

With the sped of processing i do not think they will send you the ack, and ref number. However give they some time about a week and then send email or call them. My experience was that i waited for about 10 days then sent emails. They replied on the 3rd one saying that a decision has been made and d...

The earnings points are for the 12 months prior to your application(Sept.2004). What you are doing now is not material to your application.

Although am not an authority on this i think you can because to qualify you all need is to score 65 points and above. If you have worked in a graduate job for the last year and can score ponts in other areas then you can qualify.

Capitalism has nothing to do with this - and it is the reason we want to live in this country. My review request was reviewed and granted - I didn't pay any review fees, in fact there were no review fees back in spring 2004 when I applied. Obviously hiring a qualified immigration advisor may be hel...

Question: Free review or paid appeal?

I would like to hear members opinion. Should one go for free review or pay. Why i ask this is that it may seem like they do not look at the free reviews at all since they are free and only consider paid ones. So has any one got reviewed free and got HSMP or its better to go for new application all t...

Sorry to hear that lucky123; but it seems to be a mistake/misunderstanding so I would go for an unpaid review first. However note that if you earned part of the last 12 months' income in a country and the other part in another country, points are not allocated "only" according to the lowe...

REFUSED! PAST EARNINGS

Hi all I just got my decision letter but its a refusal. Am planning to appeal immediately because i scored 50 points for my work experience and education. However when it reached my past earnings i think the case worker was mistaken so he said i should have earned the equivalent of 40,000 pounds las...
