Re: PCN & FPN received after submitting Nationality Applicat

Thank you Chowkal for your response. Would other senior members also agree ? I have two view points from two people on the same subject above and am a little bit confused and concerned. I'm just concerned that they might consider this as a 'deception' just because I didn't let them know and refuse o...

Re: PCN & FPN received after submitting Nationality Applicat

Thank you, that is very useful.

Generally they say that as long as you have one FPN in a year it should be okay right – which will apply in my case (as long as the PCN is irrelevant) ?

Do I still have to notify the Home Office to let them know ?

If so how do I go about doing that please ?

Oh right, I'm so sorry David I didn't realise that. I seem to have missed that. My point was only in reference to Tier 1. I'll let someone else clarify your query hopefully.

There's no such requirement. You can use any of your salary slips in a consecutive 12 month (maximum of) period over the last 15 months.

Re: ILR reffered to Tier 1 @PEO

I think they probably have put on hold and asked you to attend as they may have reasons to doubt the validity of your self employment credentials and if you have in fact carried out such business development consulting work that you are claiming points for.

Re: ILR - Current salary

Probably not a good idea to leave it blank, as it is in the Finance section and I guess they might be quite keen to know what you're finances are like - to check if you are likely to be burden on the state. If your salary varies (as in my case), I would suggest you sum up your 12 month net salary an...

Re: Application on Hold SET(O)

That is extremely strange and sounds really wrong to me. After naric statement , Uni letter and degree certificate they have still put your application on hold ? In any case an expired IELTS will suffice on its own. They can't reject on this ground at all. You should definitely be fine. I think very...

Most recent and current ILR Set (O) form

Dear esteemed members of this wonderful group, I have my ILR PEO appointment coming around shortly. How do I ensure that I am using the most recent and current version ? Is there a link for this please? Was there one published in September 2014 ? The most recent version I can see in the gov.uk websi...

Re: Lloyds TSB refuses to stamp printed statments

Hi Korikos / other members, I'm having the exact same issue and am a bit worried about this. I am on Tier 1 and due for ILR in a couple of weeks. I received a statement on 19th August and now need another one reflecting my salary paid in on 27th Aug for my points. I have my PEO appointment in 2 week...

Re: ILR Application Process - Need Help!

Hi, 1) Set (O) form. Yes - you and dependent need to fill the same form. 2) No maintenance requirement - but better to have some bank balance. £3k is plenty I think. 3) Yes, you are now charged the entire application fee (£2986 for applicant + 1 dependant) while booking the PEO appointment. All the ...

No, not if you reschedule before 48 hours of your appointment. If not you are charged £100 and the rest of your application fee is refunded to you .

Re: Absence overlap - over 2 consecutive periods

Ahh !! Okay. So what you're suggesting is we don't have to sum the absences up and present as part of the application as long as the absences are less than 180 in each of those 5 periods . That makes so much sense. Please do correct me if I'm mistaken. Thank you so much Manka for your response. Real...

Re: Absence overlap - over 2 consecutive periods

Hi, Thank you for your response. Sorry, I should have been more clearer. What I mean was I have a total absence of 160 days over the five years and I am planning to attend PEO appointment on the 10th of September 2014. (Tier 1(G) – ILR route) One of the absence was from 26th of August 2011 to 19th o...

Re: Recommendation for ILR checking service via solicitor

Settlement checking service is only available for Set(M) applicants. I think there are plenty of OISC (Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner) accredited immigration consultants who would charge a fee and check your application for you - just for your added peace of mind. This link might be...

Absence overlap - over 2 consecutive periods

Hi, Thank you everyone for this wonderful forum. I have a rather peculiar issue or so it seems as I tried searching the forum for an answer but there seem to be no threads on this issue. I am applying for my ILR shortly from Tier 1 and am compiling my absence lists over the past 5 years. I have 1 ab...
