Re: Questions about ILR application after 5 years spouse visa

Hmm, thats interesting. I wasn't aware you could combine savings with self employed income. You cannot combine self-employed income with savings. But his partner had normal employment income which can be combined. And payslips + bank statement was easier than documenting his self-employed income. I...

Re: Scanned Copy of Degree but original abroad

If we proceed with the application, I wonder if having a scanned copy and not original during the appointment would be an issue... ? At my appointment the only physical document they wanted to see was my passport and BRP. The people there mostly made sure the documents I'd uploaded were all readabl...

Re: Questions about ILR application after 5 years spouse visa

Did you have any thoughts on the rest of my questions please? As mishima mentioned, digital bank statements are fine. I'm not sure about the other things. Writing a cover letter seems like a reasonable thing. Alternatively, do you have savings and/or does your husband have income? If you can meet t...

Re: Questions about ILR application after 5 years spouse visa

So this is the confusing part, does the " end of your authorised stay" mean the BRP valid until date, or 5 years from date of entry into the UK? End of authorised stay is when the leave expires, in your case in Oct 2021. You can apply any time between the 5 year anniversary (minus 28 days...

Re: Do you have to leave the country if you are still waiting for the application outcome when your visa expires

Do you have a reference for this 28 day rule, for example from legislation, from the Immigration Rules, or from a webpage on government website? I tried searching Google about this but unfortunately could not find any references other than on this forum. I sometimes see this document quoted, but it...

Re: Do you have to leave the country if you are still waiting for the application outcome when your visa expires

Now I found out that my wife's current visa expires 1 day after the 5 year anniversary, which is on the 17th September (not November as I had previously thought). She can apply 28 days before the five year anniversary of her first FLR(M) visa. I find this website to be helpful to double check date ...

She has filled in the form but there is no super-priority option at the end to pay, only standard. Have I missed something here?
I've read in other posts that super priority slots are often released at 1am. People have reported success when they check the system at or just after 1am.

Re: Date to submit ILR after 5yrs Set(M)

However my 5 years will be up in July 2021. I don't understand why the permit is dated until November. My question is do I submit ILR application (no earlier than) 28 days before July 10th? They often grant a bit more than 30 months for a spouse visa. My first one was for about 31 months. Then if f...

Having had PR for more than a year, could you not apply for British Citizenship? (not cheap, but less than an LR ILR application). Or do you not want to have 3 nationalities?

Are you checking at 9am? Others have had success when they check at 1am when new slots are released. I imagine all would be gone by 9am.

Re: Set M timeline consistency

Yes, it's all based on standard Set M timelines. I got tired of calculating the latest in my head each time someone posted so I made a script to show date of application, date of biometric submission and date of decision from users' posts. It calculates the time between the events, then average and ...

The average time taken from submission of application over the past two months for standard Set M, based on the timelines, is 5 months, 11 days. From time of submission of biometrics, the average has been 4 months, 21 days, but it seems to be based on time of application rather than biometrics, beca...

You passed. There is no certificate, only the reference number.

Applications will ask:
Enter your Life in the UK test unique reference number:

The reference number can be checked by the Home Office to see it matches with a pass. There's no paper document any more.

You wrote your current visa expires on the 10/09/2022, and 28 days will be 14/09/2022. That's very close. Check out a few of the posts about when to apply. You may be able to apply "early" but schedule the biometrics after you qualify. Here's a post about someone with 2 months and 10 days ...

What route did you apply with? Over the past month or so, the average is 5 months 10 days from date of application...

Re: Did I lose a year because of FLRM decision?

ILR qualifying period for SET(M) starts from the date you entered the UK initially. Your BRP expiry is irrelevant. Time spent waiting for an in-time application counts towards the qualifying period for ILR Would that depend on whether it was the first 2.5 year period or the second? I was already in...

As a matter of fact and embarrassment, we both lost our jobs due to Corona situation last August.
If you both had jobs, did you include your partner's income on the application? It wasn't clear from your previous posts whether you were only including only your own income.

Re: Applied for ILR, but received complex reply with 2.5 years extension - HELP!

If the income requirement would now be met for the OP (if the second job has been kept), would a fresh ILR application be likely to succeed? Or does the granting of FLR(FP) preclude another ILR application before an additional 5 years? It would be expensive to pay another ILR fee, but might be worth...
