Everybody is saying in Pakistan that our visa will be refused on the basis we are providing IELTS. UKBA does not accept IELTS as a valid qualification for UK SPOUSE Visa.

They are saying IELTS is only for STudents or work permit not for spouse.

Please confirm whether a valid IELTS (ACDEMIC) test can be used to satisfy the requirement of UK Spouse Visa from Pakistan?
