I think he cannot switch onto your dependent, if he does then he will lose his 10 years continuity. .

also, you have mentioned that visa was rejected on jan 2013 and you got hearing on dec 2013, thats way too long. I am waiting for my hearing date and this worries me.

I just applied for Tier 4 application but has been refused as i showed my brothers bank statement as a sponsor, as he always have been from the day that i entered uk. Now i am thinking of appealing. what do you guys think of the chances that i have of gaining favorable outcome.
