FLR (M) Premium Service

Hi all, Question regarding the premium service and applying for FLR (M) My wife's 2.5year UK spouse visa expires in May 2017, and we are in the process of applying for FLR (M) at the moment, my question is should we use this service if she has previous history of overstaying. She's originally from M...

Re: Returning Home to apply

Hi Ice, Our second UK application only took about 8 weeks, then refused under EX1.b for no insurmountable obstacles. We thought it would work, but alas it didn't. the wife had had enough and was willing to return home, and tough it out there. It worked but jeez it was one hell of a slog.. ps I'd lov...

Re: Returning Home to apply

Hi All, Just after either some advice or maybe someone who has been in a similar situation and has been granted a visa. The story of my wife: We met over 2 years ago, and she has been in the UK since 2002. Her student visa had expired 2003, and she has remained here ever since as an overstayer. She...

Re: FLR(FP) Refusals

I believe myself and my wife may fall into this category, although we meet the financials. We applied last June 2013 for FLR(m), no FLR(fp) then, for married life and right to private life. She had overstayed 10 years, we are married, no kids, but they refused on EX1. and they feel that there were n...

Re: Fiancee/Spouse visa? When and from where best to apply?

If she intends to return to the EU country after the wedding, she should apply for a Marriage Visit Visa. https://www.gov.uk/marriage-visa What happens after she gets the marriage visa, they get married and she goes back to the EU country. What happens when she wants to return to the UK then? Finan...

Re: FLR(FP) QUESTION

@icehouse256 Before I married my wife, she applied under FLR(O) which she should never have ever done and got refused as an over stayer. We were planning on getting married before she got refused for the above, and then after we married she applied under FLR(M) and that was refused based on EX.1 bec...

Category A yes.

Not sure of your particular circumstances and if you need any further advice, but my wife has applied for the same visa in March of this year and we are awaiting the outcome. If you need any questions answering about what you need to submit please ask.

Re: Financial req (E-ECP 3.1(b)) for entry clearance as part

Hi there, You would apply based on your earnings due to you being in full time employment in the UK. As you have stated you earn well over the £18,600 a year gross which is required. You need to have at least 6 months minimum payslips etc. You don't need to apply under the category for savings due t...

Re: FLR(FP) QUESTION

@icehouse256. If you've applied under FLR(o) and you have been an overstayer, married to a British person with no children I'm afraid you have wasted your money. Unless you have those insurmountable obstacles you wont get leave to remain in the UK. If you do, I'll be ultimately amazed. What's more a...
