No certificate at the council (Edinburgh) yet. They don't know when they will receive them next, as HO hasn't been in contact for a while.

Wow!!!! That's like 15days before receiving it...

Mcr council just sent me an email now saying since the last mail they sent in the 13th October 2020, they haven't received any new certificates and don't know when they will get more.

The Home Office is just a catastrophic department that hides under data protection act and laws. Which gives them the right not to give out personal or sensitive information. I think most council have already either Zoom or Microsoft Teams. If not there are free version good enough for virtual ceremony and paid version cost about £100 per year per user. So out of curiosity I called HO just now and i spoke to a lady who said they have just started sending out invites and certificates to council from the 7th of August.

So 8-12 weeks from the 7th of August will be around 30th of October.

So fingers crossed...
