first2last4,

Yes, you need to tell them what visa you have and other information, so they can decide that you can get a mortgage or not.

Many lenders say you should be able to get a mortgage from them, but when you actually apply, they will say that only UK nationality and people who have settlement right can apply. It is just wasting our time. Many people and I have the same experience. Dont trust anything, unless you really get a m...

AdiPsych,

It says that at the end of my stay, we should apply on form of FLR(IED). We should be able to apply ILR at that time, but the immigration policy is changing all time, who knows what will be in 4 years time.

I asked a mortgage broker to do this for me, I think he is very helpful, I will recommend him if my mortage gets done. cus my first year hsmp visa will expire in July, so the lender takes longer time to consider my case. However, my extended my visa in late April, it is done, i will probably get it ...

of course, as soon as you have money, anyone can buy property in the UK, but if you want to get a mortage, the lenders might consider many things and most of UK builiding societies and banks only lend money to people who have settlement only. It is not easy to get a mortgage, but some lenders will do...

technician,

I dont know why you are so nervous, extension is much easier than initial hsmp application, many people get refused for HSMP application, but so far I have not heard anyone who cannot get hsmp extension. Just relax and wait it back.

It affects everybody who did not apply ILR before 3rd April, now all of us have to hold HSMP for 5 years to get ILR. Now HO issues 4 years hsmp extension. I know your guys dont wanna believe it, but it is this case.

Now it is very easy to connect to Work Permit customer service advisors. I made 2 calls, all connected easily, they get lots of app...

However, for people who are under 27, it is bit easier, but in these ages, few people get good pays and have ...

mi3, i have one more question, you bought a property, do you pay it as a bisiness investment or personal purchase? You pay the mortgage by buiness expense or personal income, cus personal income is after income and other taxes. I think about it, cus if it is business investment, it is more affordable.
