Re: Urgent help - FLRM extension after 2.5 years English tes

Hi Sarz, This was her first FLR(M) extension as she had done A1 test for the initial spouse visa. You will be fine as your B1 had been accepted previously and it still meets the requirements of UKBA. We used the premium service and that is the reason i was able to ask the case worker about the engli...

Re: Urgent help - FLRM extension after 2.5 years English tes

My wife renewed her visa last week, she had done the B1 test from Trinity college and it was accepted. The case worker also said that the same test can be used for the ILR in 2.5 years time if the requirements do not change! It makes sense to do the B1 exam rather than the A2 as it will cover both t...

FLR M Questions

Hi, My wife's spouse visa is up for renewal in August and i just wanted to confirm a few things before we started the application process. 1. Instead of the A2 English test she took the B1 in April 2017, will this be acceptable as my understanding is the minimum requirement for extension is A2? 2. I...

Re: Visit visa for spouse

Because his wife doesn't work or own a home is it ok for her to sponsor him and can his uncle also sponsor him? There are a couple of weddings coming up in the family and it would be nice for him to be able to attend. The purpose of the visit would not only be to visit his wife but also attend weddi...

Re: Visit visa for spouse

His wife does not own a house and lives with her parents, will she still be able to sponsor him? Does he even need her to sponsor him if he is coming for a visit visa? Can she state also that she only wants him to have a visit visa as she is planning on moving to Pakistan once she has finished her s...

Re: Visit visa for spouse

Yes but in order for the application to succeed, he will have to submit strong evidence of ties to his home country as a reason for him to return without overstaying. With a wife in the UK this may be difficult. What was the reason for the refusal of the last visitor visa application? If he withhol...

Will it be ok if she sponsors him for a visit visa rather than spouse visa?
