Thanks a lot Char for the quick response! So now I can submit the documents even after expiry of my previous visa which is 24 March 2017. I mean I can submit the documents anytime within 15 days. Am I right?

Dear respected members, I have submitted an ONLINE APPLICATION for tier 2 (general) extension on 19 March 2017. I have been asked to submit the relevant documents within 15 days by post. Will 19 March 2017 be considered as date of application for my visa pplication? My visa expires on 24 March 2017....

you had appeal rights for 10 working days after the refusal of your application. During this period you cannot submit a valid application for leave to remain. Can somebody tell me how long UKBA takes to issue a new CoS for an urgent requirement? I understand that there is a sitting on either 10 or 11th of every month for allocating the CoS to companies.
