Do you know what might be the logic behind this rule? This is really disappointing that after hiring the best talent we can not get points just bcoz he is self employed.

^^ Yes, the only exception is that the number of hours worked by a self employed person for your business will not count. Why would a self employed person for business will not count? If we are using part time/full time workers on contract they may be acting as self employed for taxation purposes. ...

If its closed, you can mention that in your application. Also, you would be required to give some contact number of then Directors or your superiors. This information is also present in guidance note. I suggest you go through it in detail.

Nothing is mentioned on my letter but I assume I got them.
The only reason for my refusal mentioned in the letter is non-verification of my previous employer references.
