EC can be applied for family later or no ??

I have recently received HSMP and also taken EC for myself. My family is not able to join immediately and are likely to join after a year. I have 2 children aged 16 and 11 years. If I apply for EC for my family after a year after I get my extension , what kind of problems I may have to encounter ?

hsmp entitled to nhs treatment only after 12 months true ???

I read on one of the forums that one is entitled to nhs treatment only if one has stayed for more than 12 months, or is allowed to stay more than 12 months, since hsmp allows only 12 months initially does it mean that hsmp people are not entitled to nhs treatment during the first year ??

You must apply for EC within 3 months - I don't think you can delay that. You may ask the EC officer to postdate your EC by up to 1 month but it will be at their discretion. They can post date it up to 3 months I confirm that ...take it form me Thanks Alex, how do I ask for post dating, there is no...

Absolutely not - your family can join you at any time during validity of your leave to remain. My family joined me only after I rented flat, registered for national insurance, doctor's etc etc. This way it is much less stressful, especially if you have children. Thanks for your reply, can you advis...
