Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi, To Set (M) colleagues here, has there been any progress for the Aug and Sep applications? Nothing for me either. Applied August 26th, no contact from UKVI, no delay emails like others have reported. Someone did get a result for their application late September, but apparently this is acceptable...

Re: ILR M Right to Work ECS check

The guide is clear what they are required to do. Do NOT confuse yourself. Stick to the official guides I know what you are saying is right. However, at these uncertain times, the last thing we want is an employer to (all be it wrongfully) stop my wife from working and the subsequent fight to reinst...

ILR M Right to Work ECS check

Dear all My wife's employer is performing an ECS check for Right to Work. They are insisting that we send them a copy of Application Registration Card or Certificate of Application. I do not recall ever seeing either of these items during the application process. Could they be known as something els...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi Sean2606 100% agree. My wife works also. In fact, her company is now questioning her Right to Work. The process for companies to check (ECS) is so convoluted for HR clerks to follow. We are working with them to resolve but with no or very little information to contribute (just an application refe...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi Sean2606 I agree, it's nice to see others getting their approvals but with no apparent reason why some categories are prioritised over others. Or are Set (M) applicants simply not posting their results? It's super frustrating - with no way of checking other than calling and receiving the "we...

Hi Sean2606
My wife's timeline is similar to yours. Still haven't received anything, her BRP ran out yesterday, all I see on the forum is Set (O)'s constantly receiving their results.... not comforting at all :-(

I hope we hear something soon.

ILR Set (M) timelines only

Hi moderators Is there any chance that we can have an ILR Set (M) only timeline. I visit this site almost every day; sometimes several times a day. It is quite depressing receiving email notifications only to see that it is for other category's entries and decision results. Thank you for your consid...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi All. We are Set (M) - Is there any particular reason why some categories get processed first? Are case workers qualified to process all categories or do they specialise (I guess that would be a reason). Also thinking that Set (M) are likely to be in a more stable family position, less likely to b...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

It's comforting to know that we are not alone and that there are other people in the same situation as us. Remember nevsito, in the business world, many businesses have failed over the last 10 months, many businesses don't have staff to be fired! [/quote] Hi, We are on the same boat too for SET (M) ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi jmcalla, I am in virtually the exact same situation as you for my wife's ILR. Dates almost exactly the same also. It is the silence that is most disturbing. However, with the current situation, we have no plans to travel even if we were allowed. We are loathed to escalate our case, or even reques...

Re: Right to work - application pending

Hi Cullinan You did it again, that is exactly the link that I saw previously, thank you so much. My wife's company is not bugging her in a harassing way, but simply because they genuinely don't know how to check. This information will go a long way to reassuring them... thank you again :-) Regards, ...

Right to work - application pending

Hi all I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I can not find the answer here on the forum. I know that I can check right to work using a valid BRP, but how do I check right to work once that BRP has run out. I'm sure I stumbled on a post that had a .gov link which asked whether an applica...

Trying to be patient - failing badly!

Hi All, I hope everyone is well. Submitted ILR Set(M) August 26th, IDV enrolled via the App September 9th. Current BRP due to expire January 21st, 2021 No desperate rush but a few questions... 1) I'm guessing that if this process goes beyond current BRP expiry date, then that date is automatically e...

IDV app vs. In Person Biometrics

Hi all. Submitted biometrics for my wife (Set M ILR) early September. I must point out that we are not in a desperate rush to get a result; but out of curiosity, I see quite a few instances of people using the IDV App and submitting biometrics in person and then getting a result soon afterwards. Is ...

Re: Financial requirement amount to put in application

Hi Seagul Unfortunately the employer has only mentioned the contract hours (16K). I think this is company policy. Thankfully, we have another allowable source of income that takes us significantly above the threshold. So for that reason, I guess it will be option 4; with the other income source to t...

Financial requirement amount to put in application

Hi All. ILR time, isn't it exciting. Okay, so filling out the online application. Regarding annual salary; Is this contracted annual salary or what was actually earned i.e., as stated on P60? Contracted salary is 16K but actual earnings is 21K (due to overtime). With that in mind, which of these wou...

Re: ILR Set (M) straight forward application
