Identity confirmation for kids' passport

Hi, I made the first passport applications for myself, wife and the kids. The identity was confirmed by a friend who happens to be a Company Director. Today I received approval for wife's application while for the kids it says 'person not eligible' and asks for using someone else. No explanation was...

Re: Passport application alongwith Citizenship application

is there a way to also apply for Passport at the same time, instead of applying afterwards? No there is not. A friend who applied a few years ago they did that but now I can't find anything on that process. The service that was in place to make a combined application years ago through NCS was withd...

Passport application alongwith Citizenship application

Hi,

When one applies for citizenship, is there a way to also apply for Passport at the same time, instead of applying afterwards? A friend who applied a few years ago they did that but now I can't find anything on that process.

Any guidance from experts?

Date of the ceremony. The date is written in by hand, not printed. You are only British from the date of ceremony so it would never be the date of approval on the certificate for adults.
Thank you CR001!

I hope it's the same for children?

Date on Naturalisation Certificate

I'd like to know what date is printed on the Naturalisation certificate- is it is the date Home Office granted approval or the date of citizenship ceremony?

Thanks in advance

Re: Urgent reply to HO - vary tier 2 to ILR

Hi ukvisat2, I'm in a similar situation. Did you manage to get a refund of the Tier 2 extension fee and the IHS for yourself? Thanks I only received Tier 2 extension fee. It came to my bank account automatically on the 10th working day from the approval date. I don't think they will refund IHS as i...

Re: Urgent reply to HO - vary tier 2 to ILR

😂 my response would have been that it would be impossible for me to have entered on 11 Jan 2020 as a time machine has not been invented as per my knowledge. Good luck. It’ll work out. :) The caseworker apologised for the oversight and finally granted my ILR using a super-priority service. However, ...

Re: 5 years for ILR

No. You need 5 years under PBS dependant route for ILR which will be in Jan. However you can apply for ILR within 28 days of becoming eligible which is around 5th Dec 2019. I suggest to apply for ILR on 30th November and book your appointment after 5th December. This saves you money and fees of IHS...

5 years for ILR

Hi, I am finding myself in a peculiar situation. Looking for guidance from the experienced members. I first came to The UK in July 2013 on ICT Visa valid upto Jan 2015, alongwith my wife who came as my dependant. In November 2014, my wife found a job in the UK, returned to our home country and appli...

Re: Tier 2 ICT - Tier 2 General; Is ILR possible?

Hi Manci, My wife received her Tier 2 General visa from Delhi embassy on 01-Dec-14 and was supposed to travel back to UK on 24-Dec. In the meanwhile I applied for an in-country Tier-2 dependent visa and had a premium appointment on 22-Dec. But to my disappointment, my application was refused under p...

[quote="avipul Hi Manci, One more question- my wife's sponsor has provided the CoS number but they are saying that there is no such 'CoS letter' that they can provide us. Are you aware if just filling up the CoS nuber on the visa form is sufficient? Is it also required to attach a 'physical pr...

Re: Tier 2 ICT - Tier 2 General; Is ILR possible?

Hi Manci, Do you see a problem? keep in mind that your wife's sponsor will probably need to do a RLMT which takes a month and then apply for a restricted CoS on the monthly cycle. Once she has the CoS she has to travel to home country and apply for her visa from there (check processing time on webs...

Re: Tier 2 ICT - Tier 2 General; Is ILR possible?

[quote="avipul] A follow-up question- My wife's sponsor isn't willing to provide a maintenance undertaking letter for her dependants (i.e. myself and kids). They want to certify it only for her. So, in dependants' applications, can I mention my savings (which is not a joint a/c), though I am n...
