In the letter it says you need to book the ceremony APPOINTMENT withing 21 days BUT this does not mean the ceremony needs to be done within 3 weeks! The ceremony needs to be done withing 3 MONTHS! I hope now everyone gets it and no more confusion what to do within 3 weeks and what to do within 3 mon...

That one is to try to book the appointment for ceremony but if they cannot offer any appointment what can you do?

If the letter is dated 29 June you need to book the ceremony within 3 months which means till 29 September.
I did the same as I got it before Christmas and I was aqay for 10 weeks.
So either you call them from abroad or when you get back should be fine

To be fair you should cancel your application as you do not intend to live in UK anymore. There are some topics opened regarding this matter. Wxactly. I requested back my certificate of my husband's application. Got it within a few days. That was 2 months ago. Still no approval yet. So it means nothing!

My children have 3 nationalities. As I am from EU, their father is North African and they were entitled for British citizenship too so holding British passport as well. When I applied for my older boy they have asked everything from me. Letter from dwp, or letters from councils where I lived in the 5 year period. But if the extension was unlawful then the years counted from 2009 not 2011...or I misunderstood something??? As far as I understand your case your legal status starts from 2011 not before
