Re: WIfe's DLR refused! HELP!

You can't ride rough-shod over the immigration rules we've all had to abide by and expect the red carpet treatment when it suites. Apply from home, do it properly, nothing here is insurmountable, at save your family from years of insecurity, appeals, reviews is certainly gonna cause more stress over...

The reason for this is that it is not allowed in our culture to live together before marriage. In this case, what kind of evidence should I provide? Many thanks, Sam. Why...

Re: Tier2 dependent Eligibility to work in Dublin

Hi all, further to my earlier question, found some info at http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/Irish%20Short%20Stay%20Visa%20Waiver%20Programme This says that Indian citizen holding short stay visa wouldn't need visa to visit southern Ireland. Now my question is if my tier2 general dependent visa ...

Re: Urgently need help!

Sometimes they send deportations orders in writing as well. I feel sorry for you and your child. I think they should consider the fact that you have been living in the state (obeying the laws etc.) and have no criminal record etc. I have a friend who received his deportation order in the past (in 2...

Re: Looking for advice for US partner

Thanks for the quick reply! I presumed that was the case. Slightly disappointing but I guess it's not supposed to be easy for any old Tom, Dick, and Harry to move over :) I'm dumbfounded by how they expect people to qualify for the unmarried partner visa when it requires you to have lived together ...

Re: Looking for advice for US partner

Marriage is your only realistic option. Also residing on visit visas for extended periods is a no-no and sooner or later will result in disaster. Other than that there's Student Visa (expensive), Work Permit (need to be highly skilled) or Entrepreneur visa (need money and business acumen). For anyth...

Hi, I am intending to move to the UK. I have a British passport but have never lived there. I have a Singapore driving licence which enables me to drive in UK for up to one year. I can only apply to convert my driving license to a UK license after residing in the UK for 185 days. However, I would l...

Re: US born child to British by Descent Mn1 help

Let me get this clear;

1. Husband is British otherwise than by decent.

2. Are you American, seems some doubt in your post as to whether you are British too?

3. Younger son is?

4. Elder son is American only?

Just to note: If your girlfriend is Irish, it's regular Stamp 4 you can apply for, you won't get Stamp 4 EUFAM. A quick google gets all the details from the INIS website here: http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/De+Facto+Relationships Please note that the De Facto 1 2017 Application Form (below) m...

I have been working in the UK under my Tier 2 visa. My question is, I always wanted to make videos and post it to my YouTube channel and maybe earn some money from the ads displayed on them (monetised content). Is this against my visa rules? It is not a "job" - it is a hobby thing and is ...

Clearly sir you have not been in love. if you are afraid of getting sued then allow private messages. clearly the guy can use all the help he can get.
