I feel as long as you have the minimum specified funds in your bank account, the 2 days when your account fell below that mark should not jeopardize your application. I seriously do not expect a case worker to go through every line item in your bank statement. However, somebody else who has had a si...

Re: Query about ILR - Life in UK proof needed for HSMP JR?

Justice - many thanks for the quick response. I would have thought that the Life in the UK rule would not apply to HSMP applicants entering the UK before 2006 ( when rules were changed restrospectively). Congrats to Bgizzle and others who have been naturalised ! This Forum is a huge help. Hi, A quic...

Query about ILR - Life in UK proof needed for HSMP JR?

Hi,

A quick question :

Do applications who have qualified for ILR under the HSMP Judicial Review (JR) process need to pass the Life in UK test for naturalisation?

Many thanks in advance.

Who are you?

I'm not sure I understand - you say you are Sanjay and then your signature says you are Atul.

Dude, do you have two names by any chance?

Not sure about your query though - sorry

To KV

Hi KV, You do not need 12 months bank statements to get an HSMP FLR approval. As long as you can prove that you have not relied on public funds and are actively looking for work, you should be fine. You need to be able to produce documentary evidence such as invitations to job interviews or emails s...

Sagar, I too have sent my FLR to HO, which reached them on Thu, 4th Aug. They charged my credit card on thursday itself. I guess in many cases, HO does not send an acknowledgement, especially where the case for renewal is straightforward, i.e. applicant has a job. Guess the only thing to do is wait ...

FLR - query about documents

Folks, Just a quick query - for FLR, do you need to submit originals for the documents like payslips, bank statements, marriage certificate? Also did most of you , who have had your FLRs approved, use the Special Delivery service of Royal Mail or are you going for private couriers? Look forward to y...

Goldenheart, Really appreciate your feedback - thanks very much for the same. I guess it is a tough market out there and the critical thing is not to lose hope or give up. The odds are definitely stacked up against foreign immigrants here in the UK. But there are examples of folks cracking good job ...

possible renewal problems...

mwazir, thanks for pointing out the earlier post. i guess one possible conclusion is that it might be a little difficult to get a full 3 yr extenstion if the main applicant does not get a job before filing for extension. in my case, however, i had almost secured an offer from a company, which unfort...

Query about renewal - please advise!

Hi folks, I had a query about HSMP renewal. Our hsmp expires in Oct 2005 and we entered uk around feb this year ( we were wrapping up things in our home country and it took longer than expected). The thing is that my wife has found a job recently but I am still looking. In the worst case scenario, s...
