As our child need to be away during MN1 application process, I wanted to find how much time maximum we will have between recieving Naturalisation certificate and applying for British passport. In this case child need not have to attend the oath taking ceremony

Slightly different question pertaining to the above thread. After getting british passport for the child can we surrender Indian passport in India after travelling there and apply for PIO card from India ? As I understand there will be grace period of 3 months ?

If my wife can sponsor my ILR how long I need to stay on ILR before I can apply for british citizenship ?

Does she need to show her job contract/ savings for sponsorship for sponsoring me ?

My wife and son are in Uk my wife and I have indian passport. As it is taking longer here in the Uk I thought I could apply it from India so that he can spend time in India. So do you suggest I apply it from here as it will easy and faster here ?

I have applied for naturalisation for my 2 yrold son who was born in the uk. We are on ILR he got his ILR as well. I was wondering if I can apply for British passport for my son from India as he needs to travel later in the year there. thanks in advance for your response

ILR Family Away outside UK

Hi
I am applying for my ILR in May 2014, but I need to send my family for 45 days to India, they already stayed around 50 days in India this year in July-Aug. However, I have not been out side UK more than 30 days over the last 1 year. Will this impact my ILR application. Please help thanks
