Re: Tier 2 General Extension (Urgent)

Thanks mate.

The consultant is applying via the priority application. Thanks for bringing up the sponsor license renewal, it hadn't even crossed my mind. I'll be sure to let me company know about this. Would you happen to know how much it costs to renew the license.

Thanks.

Re: Tier 2 General Extension (Urgent)

Thanks again for your reply.

I'll contact the consultant and inquire about the COS. My company is listed in the "REGISTER OF SPONSORS (Tiers 2 & 5 and Sub Tiers Only)" list, by any chance does this mean that COS allocation was renewed.

Re: Tier 2 General Extension (Urgent)

Many thanks for your reply @hassanh. My company should have remaining COS allocation as I'm the only person on sponsored Visa. My company had availed the services of an immigration consultant for my initial application though I'm not sure who had actually obtained the COS.(I had got it in an email f...

Tier 2 General Extension (Urgent)

Hello All, I'm on a Tier 2 General Visa which is due to expire in march. I wish to apply for an extension (3yrs) however my company has told me to pursue the application on my own. My company is an overseas one with a branch in UK and they have no HR personnel in UK. 1>How straightforward is the app...

Tier2 dependent to Tier2 General - ILR eligibilty

Hi, I have recently switched visa from Tier2 ICT Long Term Staff Partner to Tier2 General. I have been told that i can apply for ILR after 5 years in the Tier2 General Visa . I had spent 1.5 years in UK on Tier2 ICT Long Term Staff Partner visa before switching the visa category. My question is will...

Re: Visa Refusal - Tier 2 Genaral

Just to update, i have received my Tier 2 General Visa on the second attempt. My employer was kind enough to let me reapply. I was assigned a new COS with reduced work hours which then led to my salary fall within the appropriate limit. Thereafter it was just a matter of going through the applicatio...

Re: Visa Refusal - Tier 2 Genaral

Thanks again Manci. I realise that the only option would be to go through the entire process again. Its kind of unfortunate that the immigration consultant company who acted on behalf of my employer to help me with the visa overlooked this. All I can do now is pray and hope my employer has the patien...

Re: Visa Refusal - Tier 2 Genaral

Thank you Manci. I have checked the CoS, the salary and weekly working hours are indeed £46000 and 48 hours respectively. However I have a feeling that the working hours mentioned in my contract maybe incorrect,I'll clarify tomorrow with my office. I know i can go back and resume work but I want to ...

Re: Visa Refusal - Tier 2 Genaral

Hi Manci, Thanks again for the reply. The figure mentioned in the letter is £33,833 however he has got my salary wrong, its £46000 (as mentioned in COS) and not £46600. Not a big difference but still he's got it wrong. Do you know how he arrived at this figure. While i understand that the review will...

Re: Visa Refusal - Tier 2 Genaral

Hi Manci, Thank you for answering my query. I'm in India at the moment and had applied for the visa from India. When you say I would need a new COS with either reduced working hours or increased salary, does that mean I'll have to go through the entire process of Labour market test and then apply fo...

I came across maintenance (funds) criteria while i was checking my points eligibility on the UKBA website today. Unfortunately i don't have £900 in my Bank account for 90 consecutive days. However I have a rented flat in London with a valid agreement till end of April 2014 (my wife's name is also in...

Thanks again Manci. Probably my last question.
Its been only a month since i have started working in UK and this is my first job and company. My colleagues are telling me that i need to wait six months before applying for the visa as i would need to provide 6 months salary slip. Is this correct.

Hi All, I'm currently living in UK on a Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff Partner visa valid till October 2015. Currently I am working in an IT company.
