Re: would Naturalisation invalidate ILR?

Hi When you arrive UK the BC go thru a separated pass and no need to fill in a arrival card. While I went thru a different one with Non-BC. Does that make sense. the above suggestion is not quite answering or show why ILR has been invalid. With what I experienced the officer have checked ILR and sta...

Re: would Naturalisation invalidate ILR?

There is no requirement for a British citizen to enter on a British passport, but there have been reports of people in your position being told to get either a British passport or a CoE-RoA. Hi no it's not that, at the custom I went through the non-EU pass and the ILR was examined just like other v...

Hi appreciate if someone can suggest. I got the British citizenship 2 years ago but have not applied for British passport yet I used my old passport with ILR vignette to travel abroad. Am I correct in thinking the ILR is still valid? Otherwise I won't be able to pass through the British boarder. Or ...

Re: form an question about child under 16s

Thanks for the update. Can the parents submit the MN1 form for the child only for the application and the parents just do not want to apply BC at the moment. Is such an application valid?

Thanks again

Would the BC certificate ever expire?

Hi,
I've been approved BC last Sep and got the BC certificate so the next step is to apply my first British passport.
Technically can I keep the BC certificate for as long as I can before applying for passport?
Thanks

Non-English marriage certificate

Hi,

When applying BC with a MN1 form (child) I need to include the parents' marriage certificate as a supporting document.

The thing is the marriage certificate is not obtained in UK therefore is not English document. Would that be problem?

Thanks for any Experience shared

Same References for family when applying BC?

Me, my wife and daughter want to apply for BC soon.

Does it hurt to use the same two reference for the same family. Home office wouldn't reject right?

Also

Is a dentist /NHS health visitor/driving instructor suitable to act as a reference?

Thanks for any info!
