It has to be valid at the time of application. UKBA issues biometric card that is why they don't bother for more than 6 months passport validity for ILR.

You need to establish the fact that you and your husband both are living together since you extended your visa (last 2 years in case of Tier-1 general). I was told by PEO contact centre that one needs to submit 6 individual letters(for both of you....

If you don't have any joint letter then try to arrange 6 individual letters for both of you for last 2 years. These letters should be from three different sources like council,bank and utility (landline bill,electric bill ,TV License etc).

This was first application for my baby. I was interested to continue my nationality that is why I didn't registered my baby as British citizen. You can get your ILR and register your baby as British citizen.

1) No other document

2) You just need to tick 11(l)

3) No need to tick any option in 6.3 if your absence < 180 days in any single year
