But you do have a letter saying you've been granted residence and I would move with that of you need to. It must be really anoying, but unless you have to travel it shouldn't be a big deal.

I am still waiting 4 month already...

Great for you guys, I am still waiting (3.5 month already). I have a doubt Mehan, when this thread began you said you had been waiting for almost three month and you finally got it after 2month and 3 weeks. I suppose you got your visa just after your post?

I think that is wrong, unless you are british, the child will keep the mothers nationality by default.

Hi kavanspace, when you call next time ask for your reference number. Is there anyone else in the same situation? it would be good to know how your process are going and how long did they take. Also, are we able to start working? or we should wait for the residence permit just to be safe? Good luck ...
