Re: Pros and Cons for British Economy by allowing NonEU Pare

1. The vast majority of people on here asking about ADR visa are for ill/infirm/need care type requests. Can't recall hardly any where the parent(s) are fit and healthy. The people who ask for ADR (if that means adult dependent relative) are not fit and healthy because that is what the visa is - I a...

Re: Pros and Cons for British Economy by allowing NonEU Pare

I appreciate that you are considering practically about what could happen I agree that none of us knows what destiny beholds, but exceptions cant set precedence. I also agree that there is a cultural difference between Brits who are here from generations and us who will/are just turned British. But ...

On part of the laughable example - You have answered it your self .. if you found a better opportunity. I (We) are here because its a better place and there is no denying it but if you cannot switch or do not have other opportunities, this does not allow to be treated in appropriately. I totally agr...

Pros and Cons for British Economy by allowing NonEU Parents

I was wondering if there are any benefits to British Economy if they allow Non Eu - parents of people settled in Britain. There has always been a myth/cry about the burden the parents would add to British Economy. There is emotional/responsibility side of children whose parent's are in Non EU countr...

Re: Has anyone used Surinder Singh route for aged parents

I totally agree ... But there are always some smart (like a lot of people on the forum) and some desperate(like me) who workout a way. Hopefully someone has done in this scenario as well. If they share it might help others as well. http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/dec/18/non-eu-family-members...

Has anyone used Surinder Singh route for aged parents

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone was successful in using Surinder Singh route to bring his/her elderly parents to UK from India (or any other Non EU country).

Can you please share your experience .......

Any other route/process someone would have used to get elderly parents to move permanently to UK.

Re: First time buyer - banks providing mortages

Halifax is best amongst them to what I understand... Natwest also is OK with 1 year plus visa.

So I would say with 1 year plus natwest and Halifax are the options, though there is no harm shopping around coz these things change so fast.

Fees will be 80£, application can be submitted by representative (which can be u) and your signature would do. Give as much as proofs that you have av...
