Re: We do not have any hope!

There's no way, I'm sorry to say but if you genuinely love each other, there is a way out which involves patience, resilience and following the law to the letter. Your love will be put to test, but that's the way out except you want to complicate things further.

Re: Cover letter for application

My husband and I are compiling our documents for the spouse visa, We were wondering what is required of a cover letter for the application? Is it just a brief summary of who we are, where we are from and what we are applying for? Or is something else required from us here? also we already intend to...

Re: Settlement: Details of Accommodation

I am gathering all the documents to apply for the spouse visa. My UKC husband and I currently live in the US. Do I need to send documents that we have a place to stay just to apply? We plan to rent a house, but that won't happen for a couple months. Our financial documents will show that we exceed ...

Re: Some advice on uk spouse application...

Your proofs of financial requirement mustn't be more than 28 days because that can cause a refusal and your employer's letter must clearly state your income in the last 6 months or whichever category you want to use. That means staying over there can affect the visa, most especially if they try conta...

Re: Rejected for Funds

No I didn't. I just took the Money and deposited in my account. I think i understand that was my mistake. Should I re-apply ... by taking his bank statements... and re-applying it again Because the money isn't yours,I doubt if the visa would be granted even if you get statements from him, perhaps he...

Re: IS FLR M is a settlement visa?

Well, what's important is that your wife can invite her mother for stated reason and you can as well, you can jointly invite her,but the onus is on her to prove she will live at the stated time.
Settled status is ILR,but someone with live to remain can also invite family member.

Re: british dependant spouse visa for my wife from India

I'm afraid your explanation alone can't do it,you've got to back up your explanations with documents. I think it's possible, what type of tenancy agreement have you got? You might need inspection report as I said earlier, it's a shared house and the eco might want to know it's not going to be overcr...

Re: 6 payslips or 6 months before application

As you've stated you're in non salaried employment, you'll be fine with the figures stated. You don't have to earn 1550 all through, I could remember one of my payslips was below 1550 when we did for my wife. Just make sure you get other documents to specifications.

Re: british dependant spouse visa for my wife from India

Living with landlord doesn't give you security of tenure, that means he can tell you to move out anytime? You need at least shorthold tenancy agreement of 6months. If he lives in the same house,I doubt he can give you that. If you can get it sorted, fine otherwise you'll need a new place. Secondly, yo...

No I don't earn 18.6k per annum, but I just need to demonstrate that she would be adequately maintained, which means that after tax and rent, we have available to us a level of income (as a minimum) the same as income support. So for a couple that is 114.85. That is their minimum. I have read on he...

Re: VAF4A Appendix 2 - Same job but different pay in past 6

If you're applying under Cat A,there's no point using salary in the past 12 months, 6 months is enough with other documents.
Your answer at 3.12 should be yes, don't contradict your statement. That promotion means nothing to your application because you're still with the same employer.

Re: Settlement visa - change in employment during process

You'll need to inform them, just to cover your back,if your employer is contacted and they tell home office you don't work with them anymore, that can cause an issue. Moreover, you're advised to inform them of any change of circumstance.
