Re: December 2013 - Naturalization timeline

Hi Rikken, I am afraid I cannot help there, I am not even sure when my payment was taken, as I was only looking at the balance, not the available balance. BTW my balance is still not showing the fee taken, nor is there any transaction, only the available balance is £1550 pounds less. I am myself no...

Re: December 2013 - Naturalization timeline

Still no payment taken! I need to request my passport back and I plan to wait until they send me the acknowledgement letter so I have a reference number. But getting impatient now!

Do they take the payment first thing in the morning or during the day?

I don't see why it would be a problem.

If there was any doubt by the assessor, they would just call the referee themselves and confirm they are legit.

Most likely, but could be a bit earler, based on how quickly the November applications are now being acknowledged.

Re: October 2013 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Nice work guys.

From what I can see of the reported applications, there are as many applications lodged in the week of October 21 as there have been for the entire months of November/December. So expect things to pick up quite quickly once the backlog is cleared for October (it almost is).

To the last few posts above.

The MN1 registrations are done by the same place that does the naturalisations and they are only now picking up ones from approx 25 October, so the same delays are going to apply to you.
