Re: OCI Renewal for 5 year old

I would be grateful for your advice on a very similar advice. I have updated my 6 year son's OCI last week on the OCI website. I uploaded his photo, his signature and then his new renewed British Passport (at age 5). I have received acknowledgement on email. - From the forum, I learn that we don't g...

Spouse visa - Days outside the UK

My wife (who is also a doctor) first came to the UK on Tier-1 dependant visa in May 2010. Unfortunately the visa (Tier 1 dependant) did not allow her to work as a doctor in training. She had to apply for a independent Tier 2 visa in August 2011 to get the training job. In Dec 2011, I got my ILR. An ...

FLR(M) form-Nov 2014 -what difference from previous version

Hello friends, I am a (naturalised) British Citizen. My wife is applying for extension of visa at the end of this month using FLR(M) using premium service within the UK. I noticed that a new version has come up - November 2014. I have compared it with the immediate previous form but could not find a...

Re: Wife passed Life in the UK 3 years ago. Will she need Ko

Wife passed Life in the UK 3 years ago. Will she need KoLL ?

My wife has passed Life in the UK - about 3 years ago - when she was applying for FLR(m). At the time, we thought that it was essential for the visa application. (If I remember right, they did not look at the Life in the UK). She proved her English Language through Academic Qualifications and NARIC ...

Spouse Visa

My wife is currently on a spouse visa which is valid until 24th of January 2015. She will have to apply for extension/renewal of visa. What is the earliest that she can apply for the visa? We intend to use the premium service. I ask because we are planning to go to India for a family visit on 31st J...

Citizenship for wife who has been on different visas.

I have been married since April 2010. I was then on Tier 1 visa. My wife (who is also a doctor) first came to the UK on Tier-1 dependant visa in May 2010. Unfortunately the visa (Tier 1 dependant) did not allow her to work as a doctor in training. She had to apply for a independent Tier 2 visa in Au...
