I didnt need proof of communication because i submitted my application a day after my nikkah.so there was no gap after wedding. Also my sister gave a bedroom in her property so she just done a letter for me saying she allows me to stay with my wife rent free etc... I had no p60 because i started get...

Just under one job. I checked in morning it was under process at 7.00am uk time. Then at 11.00am uk time i checkd agen at work n status changed to rfc. Then my wife rang 5 minuted later saying she gt a phonecall frm gerry and text ftm islamd.

I applied under Cat A. I emailed them once only and they gave a standard reply. I left it then didnt hassle them. Didnt contact MP either. Inshallah everyone hears gud news soon

In Sha Allah we will all hear good news soon. Marriages are made in heaven. Im sure God did not intend for people to get married and then not unite them. Have sabr.. just wake up each day and say 'Alhamdulillah' what we have and leave the rest in his hands.

My wife went to Gerry in Mirpur today. They told her that apllications are taking 6-9 months at the moment... anyone else from Mirpur been told the same ??

For all those wishing to apply or reapply - you may want to consider waiting until end of March. The UKBA are launching a priority Visa service for settlement where applications are processed within 10 days. Of course, this come at a extra fee of £300 and for super priority (I guess within 5 days?)...

Any Mirpur applicants heard anything. I know of 2 girls not in this forum who got their visa around 3 months mark. One got hers 2 days before the 3 months were up and the other after 3 months and 6 days.

Fingers crossed we receive our response within 3 months inshallah.
