ILR approved PEO Croydon 03/03/14

Post by harpreetjagdey » Tue Mar 04, 2014 11:36 am

Dear All

ILR application was approved yesterday at PEO Croydon.

I have supplied the following:

1. Passport
2. BRP card
3. 12 months payslips
4. last 5 year P60
5. Original degree cert for English ( Degree from India and is on UK Naric PBS calculator)
6. Life in UK test
7. 12 Months statements

Absence was less than 180 days so did not supply any employer letter etc.
I cam from Dublin via ferry in 2009 so my passport was not stamped for my entry date. I used my employer letter and payslip to prove my arrival in country.

Will be happy to help if someone has any question.

Many thanks

Hi there,

Were any of your absences in last 5 years more than 100 days?

Also, were unemployed in any of your absence? if yes then what document did you submit for that?

did you apply for any dependents (if any)?

any help is appreciated?

Regarding English requirement - I just submitted my Bachelors and masters degree from India. I did not have any letter saying my medium of study was English. I submitted PBS sheet along with it.

I had no dependents, no absence more than 100 days in a year, never unemployed.

Only glitch was my passport was not stamped for uk entry date butI had employment letter to prove it.

Hope it helps.

Hi harpreetjagdey
Congrats.... I am in a similar position as you.
I was working in dublin branch for 3 weeks in january 2014 and i took the flight to heathrow
termial 1, i was not subjected to immigration on my last arrival hence no arrival stamp in my passport.
will this be a problem? i dont have the boarding pass as well. I will be applying for ILR on 10/04/2014, did the case worked specifically asked you for a letter? please advise thank you

Hello
I dont think you need to worry about it. As it was only 3 weeks in Jan 2014 and if the total absence is less than 180 days in a year, it should be fine. To be on safer side, you can ask your employer to issue you a letter explaining this. Was your passport stamped at Dublin airport?

My case was different to yours as I was missing arrival stamp in 2009 when my period towards ILR started. So I arranged a letter from my previous employer to prove that i was in country.

Hope this helps.

Regards
Harpreet

Hi harpreetjagdey
Thank you for your reply. my passport was stamped in dublin on arrival, and nothing
is stamped in departure from Dublin or arrival in heathrow.

anyway i will prepare a letter from office, also my bank statement shows that i still purchase
goods in UK. i hope this wouldnt be a problem

Thank you
Shash
