Hope we will have more good news today. Does anyone in seniors got idea after allocating case to case worker how long does it take. And congratulations to those who got ILR so far this week.
Raaz
Mostly within a week a decision would have been reached. Mine took 2 days. e.g got allocated to the case worker on Monday and decision reached on Tuesday. Also, it could also depend on the queue of the particular case worker. Many other factors could also be responsible but be rest assured its coming pretty soon.

Hi everyone,
Just called HO today and they say sorry mam but the decision on your case has still not been taken..So basically its just sitting there. I asked if that means it has been assigned to a case worker or not? and the reply was sorry i dont have any further information on it. disappointing :( everyone who calls gets to know that their documents have been sent out or they get a delivery number! I had applied through settlement checking service so I have my original documents with me, i just need a decision on my straight forward case..
Applied on 3rd Dec 2013
Biometrics done on 3rd January 2013
Waitingggggg.....

Hi guys.,
I can understand the frustration and I have just relaxed my self.so keep calm and if you'll can just write to them explaining your situation., it works
My understanding is that home office functions like a male dick. It ejaculates and untill the next erection it doesn't ..

Only 5 applications in Feb and not a single application in first week of March on skydrive. These numbers suggest Long Residence applications to go down drastically in coming months.

Hopefully this will help in reducing the processing time.

No . I was too laidback when I applied. Only after I sent I realized it might be deception . So I wrote to them and made sure they get the document.
I was convicted in court for overspeeding. So I think my case worker considerd as a fixed penalty .

Assalam-o-Alikum and hi all ,
Alhumdulillah i have received my BRP card today, Thanks to almighty Allah and every one on this forum,
this forum has been fantastic, a great source of help, courage and comfort. i have not enough word to admire this forum creator and for All respected MOds and member's who share their knowledge and real life stories to help and encourage others.
i have been visiting this forum from quite a few years and never missed any post on ILR thread. i would say this forum is quite addictive as i used to come here more the 2 to 3 times every day, never felt boar , always use to think when will that day come when
i would be writing about getting ILR like other members...so guys who are waiting Insha Allah your time will also come soon to break good news about getting ur ILR and,i pray and wish u good luck to all who are waiting (specially brother Amjad leeds) keep ur firm believe in God and never loose hope and keep coming here and share your thoughts. ..it help a lot, as all fantastic members of this do their best to ease your pain .. very active and efficient i should say
what a journey this been ....was feeling so emotional since yesterday, feeling so relief and also weird as im having flash backs of the day when i came in this country ...like a m.o.v.i.e...getting flash back of good and bad time i had in this country ..all the struggle ..what i have lost and gain during this long journey of 10 years... this time has been a roller coaster ride... (personally i feel like i've spent 20 years here :) but hey ho.. still i feel so lucky and humble.. thanks again to every single member of this forum
sorry forgot to mention that i received my documents back yesterday and i was like holding my breath untill i get my BRP card.
silly HO never said any thing about approval on the letter they sent with my documents even tho i knew because of senior members that it means approved but still i was waiting for brp..don't know why it so hard for them to write on letter " we have approved your application" so brp came today
my timeline

Dependent of ILR (Under 10 years) Direct SET (M) without FLR

Post by msvayani » Sat Mar 08, 2014 10:13 am

Hi all,

First a of all I would like to thank all the seniors for their wonderful support and information sharing, I just would like to share my experience just an hour ago about my wife application at Sheffield PEO for ILR. It is very beneficial specially for those people who have got ILR under 10 years rule and their spouses are willing to apply for indefinite.

arrive at PEO at 0735

Application taken at 0800

biometric done at 0850

decision at 0900

Its was very quick and I am really impressed with Sheffield PEO. It is my second experience with them.

Brief Summary:
I got ILR in 3rd week of Feb 2014 under 10 years rule.

Wife joined me in Oct 2009 as dependent of PBS (post study work) then T1 Dependent. Visa valid till 2016.

Document submitted:
Set M application
Photographs
4 months bank statements + payslips + employer letter for myself
4 months bank statements + payslips + Accountant letter that she works at my own limited company.
Marriage certificate
Life in the UK test
Trinity College B1 (Grade 5) listening and speaking certificate
Cohabitation documents (some in joint names but rest on sole name) covering last 2 years

I did prepare FLR (M) and tried to explain after giving all my document to lady at counter but she said that if there is any problem then case worker will let us know.

So in a nutshell try luck by giving SET (M) if spouse is her before 9th July 2012 on PBS route dependent and her/his visa is still valid. This is first hand experience just an hour ago.

If any one need any information please send me private message.
