It depends on what route you are going from...

1) £200K

OR

2) £50K

Applying from Pakistan for £50K?

I believe you are going through FCA regulated firm's approval of £50K

You need same set of documents which you would be providing as if you were applying in the UK#

1) Approval Letters** from FCA approved body & supporting document
2) Maintenance Money Document
3) English Proficiency Document (Degree* or English Certificate)
4) Passport

*check on points calculator if your degree is acceptable by UKBA
** they are usually different from the ones who apply in the UK. More like invitation letters.

When applying for Prospective Entrepreneur, what are you going to do after six months? That's the more important question.

You cannot apply for Prospective Entrepreneur via 50K route using your own money. You must have £200K.

So, first of all, find out what you want to do.

Exactly.

So, you will be extending your Prospective Entrepeneur into Tier 1 Entrepreneur Category inside UK, but you want to apply for Prospective Entrepreneur first.

Prospective Entrepreneur is a C-category visit visa with 6 months of validity. It can only be converted into Tier 1 Entrepreneur application (with fees of £1051) inside UK

What you currently need are following doc:

1) Invitation Letter from Venture Capital firm (make sure they are in FCA's list, Take a print out and put it in file too)
2) Passport
3) Maintenance Money (equivalent to £3100 for 90+ days)
4) English Proficiency (either recognized Degree+Transcript taught in English / OR / English Certificate with min. B1 Level)

That's all. You have to fulfill same conditions in terms of supporting documents as it is for Tier 1 Entrepreneur. I'm telling you this through experience 8)

Dear BlackBirdSSG,

I'm in USA/citizen, in the end my intention are to apply for Tier 1 Entrepreneur but from UK, at this moment I would like apply for Prospective Entrepreneur fist on the bases of 200K. So do and what I need?

BUT Under Additional documents

You must also provide letters that show your business is being considered for funding by 1 or more:

registered venture capitalist firms regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority
"Especially how do I get this done" UK entrepreneurial seed-funding competitions endorsed by UK Trade and Investment
UK government departments

Sponsor letters

Each letter must:

say what the organization supporting your application does
describe your business
say why you’re suitable to be involved in the business
confirm that your supporting organization will decide whether to provide you with at least £50,000 funding within 6 months of your arrival in the UK, and that they can be contacted about you
confirm that your business will be set up and run from the UK
include a contact name, phone number and email details
Please E-mail me if you can AQAAB@USA.COM or call me +1 424 249 8000 / +1 786 429 8000

If you are using £200K why do you need a VC? If you use VC you can save £150K as the funding required is only £50K. Do you already have a VC firm that can support your application?

Thanks
