TIER 2 Sponsor letter

I have received the letter from my employer for my child only.

How long this letter will be valid? This letter is dated today 7th march 2014, is there any limit on using this letter in the specified time either in

one month or three months time?

I remember that COS letter is only valid for three months right? Just curious about this letter?
