Just called the HO, the lady put me on hold for 4 minutes.

Came back and said, "I have just spoken to the relevant department and you will hear from us in 7 working days"

She didn't say approved or not...

My words were "its been 3 months since application I have heard nothing from the HO, I don't even know what is happening with my application, please can you update me whether its been allocated to the case worker as I have some travel plans coming up"

Thanks. I tried, I wasn't this lucky, was given the usual answer "Not complete".

Hopefully by next we all have approval for jan 2014. I feel so sorry for the people who are still waiting from nov and dec.

It really is difficult.

They are dealing with thousands of applicants a day.

I just think they could have some sort of tracking thing for the applicant.

Language criteria: Life in the UK test + B1 from Trinity
Method of application: Post RM Special (Joint application 2 AN + 1 MN1)
Date of application: 14/01/2014
Date of receipt by UKBA: 15/01/2014 (RM Tracking)
Method of payment: Cheque
Date of debit of fees: 03/02/2014
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 29/01/2014 (dated 28/01/2014)
Date of receipt of approval: 11/03/2014 (dated 07/03/2014)

Another 10 Approvals have been posted since "trigger" posted the stats in 05th March(page 16). I guess Out of 105 applications in Jan 37 have been approved until now.

My husband received his approval letter today
For citizenship
Eligibility: Spouse of British Citizen
Applied: 20th January
Fees taken: 30th January
Approval and documents received: 12th March (dated 10th March)
Thank God it has arrived! Good luck on all of you that are still waiting... Reading through these posts have really got me through the wait and thanks to Bateleykhan for all of his help when we first started the journey applying for the spouse visa :)

Contrary to what some people may think, this data is not 3 weeks old. Yes, the updates are cumulative and contain historic approval links for the entire month. That way, I figured it would be easier for someone picking up the thread midway to obtain a clearer picture for January 2014. I have tried to keep figures and dates as recent as possible, but this is just a weekly effort on my part. If the updates slide by a few days, please understand that I am taking time out to post progress here.

Called HO. They told me "I can't tell you if it has been assigned to case work". Ah well :(

I called them today as well - "the application is with the team".

Then I asked her if it's been allocated to a caseworker yet. She said she is not able to answer that as the information she has access to is quite limited...

Hi Mehmud, it is almost 40% of January applicants that have their approvals. With 2nd class post taking several days to be delivered come next Thursday one of us might be smiling :)

Eligibility criteria: HSMP + tier1 + 1 year ILR
Language criteria met (UK degree, exempt countries, NARIC, or B1 test): ILTES
Method of application: NCS
Council name if NCS used: NCS Westminiter
Date of application: 07 Jan 2014
Payment method CC/DC, Personal cheque, Bankers cheque etc: Debit Card
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 27 Jan 2014
Date approval received: 12 Mar 2013 ( dated 04 Mar 2013)
Date of ceremony: TBA
