newborn settelment

hi everyone i have a question regarding my new born baby sellelment,
actually i am due for ILR on aug 2014 and my baby dont have any passpoprt, so my question is how he will get the settelment , do he requierd indian passport first or birth certificate is enough.

UK-born child is entitled to register for British citizenship on MN1 after a parent is granted ILR.

thanks for the reply but do he need the settelement visa first and if yes then do we need indian passport for him
