request for additional info 1st march..
documents sent .. 10th march ..
approval letter generated .. 13th march ..
received 14th mar..

a. Bank Covering letter (Balance, Regulated, Disposable anywhere)

b. ICICI Bank statement showing 50k

5. Maintenance funds

a. Covering Letter from Bank stating £900 available from last 3 month

b. Halifax account statement showing £900 + funds available for last 3 consecutive months

11. Companies house current appointments letter

Please can you tell your designation and the core service your business will provide/is providing ?

What additional documents were you requested by the UKBA ?

if the funds are in your personal account .. then you need a letter from branch manager saying ...

Name. ...son of...with account number.. is with ICICI bank from (account opening date)...which is regulated by Reserve bank of India..... has a balance of RS(500000)...(pounds in bracket) ... which is calculated at £1 = 102.5 rupees... and this funds can be disposed anywhere(anywhere because ICICI cant specify name of country)....

Mr. xxxxx is one only person who has the the rights to access this account. Please contact me if any further information is required...

if the money is in your family members account... get something like this and get a declaration from them that they has no objection for you to use this money .. take a photocopy of their passport and make them sign in front of a lawyer..

remember .. money disposable anywhere,regulated by reserve bank of india and balance are the most important things... and also attach the statement with icici stamp on it.

and below is the exact covering letter I sent to make them clear about funds..


Dear UKBA
I am writing this covering letter to let you know that my access to £50,000 is available in my Indian ICICI Bank personal account. This bank is regulated by "Reserve Bank of India" in India and is also regulated by Financial Services Authority (reference no. 223268) in the UK. To prove this I have attached printouts of Banks FSA reference details from "The FSA Register" to the bank statement.

Additional Documents : I haven't sent the original bank statement of my business account with application.. I used the automatic statement print machines at barclay's and sent it. .. so they requested me to send a letter from bank on the bank letter head saying that the business is trading.. which is not a big deal..
