I see someone posted on here decision in on the 25th of this month?
This is the first i have heard, but if MP has stated this then there must be some element of truth?

Anyone else hear any news?

I don't think anyone can actually CONFIRM anything until it happens. It's all speculation. I think people should just wait for an announcement

Salaam Everyone,

I'm new here.. I guess everyone is having the same problem. My husband applied on 30th July 2013 and on 16th August 2013, he received the acknowledgment but unfortunately since then we've not heard anything. I don't know whether all Karachi applicants have been put on hold or what? There hasn't been any other correspondence from Britsh High Commission since. It's so frustrating, although I'm praying in sha Allah we hear from them very soon. I have just recently got in touch with my local MP, but I make duaa that they buckle up pretty soon. All my sabr is draining out, I'm just pushing it a little more just to keep my husband and myself going.

It's Maghreb time, I make duaa Allah makes it easier for you all and myself in sha Allah, Ameen!

Regards,
Sana J

Yes my income shown was more than £20,000. I showed two jobs, with every requirement fulfilled. I have contacted BHC Islamabad via email several times, but always received an automated email.

How is it going for you? Heard anything yet?

Yeah, I supplied 7 months worth of payslips, showing more than £1550 monthly income, plus my personal savings, my own property on my name, bank statements for 7 months, letter from the mortgage lender. Letter from employer, utility bills, photographs of our wedding, my eticket for the visit I made, my communication logs with my husband (mainly calling cards, Facebook log, viber, Skype, BBM everything)

Your list looks the same as me..

Why they haven't contacted you its been over 6 months you applied.. Have you already spoken to MP did they give you any advice..

On their emails (standard reply) do they say anything about income or hold?

What should we do any idea?

As we speak, my local MP's secretary called me, just got off the phone with her. I had to provide her a full lengthy email explaining everything. BHC promised to deliver a decision within 24 weeks but it's now the 34th week (if my maths and calculation are not wrong) so I'm in a pretty strong position considering BHC have not emailed my husband for lack of documentation. In sha Allah, in sha Allah I'm hoping my local MP can push this forward.

The standard emails that BHC Islamabad having been sending to my husband or myself each time we've tried getting information, is that their check's are not complete yet and will be in touch with us shortly, and can't promise a timeframe.

Besides making Duaa, I honestly am blank with ideas.

In sha Allah I will update you. Don't worry about anything, your husband will be here very soon too in sha Allah. I've not complained yet, because unfortunately I'm scared it might affect my husbands application and they use it against the decision because they need any excuse to reject.
