If I get a Tier 2 visa stamp while still having a valid multiple entry visit visa, what happens when I go to the UK?

Can I choose by which visa I wish to claim the entrance?

Can I choose by which visa I wish to claim the entrance? Tier 2 visa will over-ride the visitor visa

Thank you for your reply. So what if I go to the UK for a week and then leave and return back after 3 weeks. Is that possible or would it harm the process?
