ILR

Post by cuteprettysweetappealing » Thu Mar 20, 2014 11:27 pm

Hi Team,

I am in UK or Tier 1 (General) with my family.
I have completed 5 years in UK. I need to apply for ILR. My Question is
Can i apply for ILR with appointment and my dependent with post once i got ILR? By doint this i think i can save some money which goes in fee.

thanks & Regards

Yes you may if you wish although I'm not sure that you'll make a great saving. If you are applying together (and assuming you're applying before the new fee structure), you will be required to pay £2,589. If you apply on your own and then have your dependent apply by post, you will pay £1,426 plus £1,051 (fee for standard application) which will amount to £2,477. The saving is only £100.
